Born and raised in Buffalo (Go Bills!!), New York, I was introduced to the primary concepts of geology in my fifth-grade science class and discovered a passion for identifying rocks and minerals and the history preserved within them. With the dream of one day becoming a geologist in mind, I graduated summa cum laude from SUNY Geneseo in May 2021 with a Bachelor’s degree in Geological Sciences and minors in Mathematics and Geography. I have earned a Master’s degree from Wesleyan University, and completed three summer internships at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory in the Planetary Geosciences group. I am now moving one step closer to my goal of becoming a planetary geologist as a PhD student at Purdue University!
